March 29, 2003 I left a message on the splash page, that I won't be able to update any time soon because of University, but the site will be left open (to anyone that still comes here), I just can't let go of this site, there will always be something to do, even if it is only fanfic, or information findings, forms or nonsense rambling from me.... anyway, take care all =:) February 12, 2003 Lions and Tigers and bears, oh my. Okay, I know I have been slacking on the site, but I guess I am on an on/off hiatus (I just put myself on one, hehe), I will still chat and what not, but I may be rather slow in doing forms etc, as my mind is a bit preoccupied with other things. January 21, 2003 I added two new links here for SY Fun and Games, and SVH - The Covers. I was just looking at all the SVH covers thinking how far Sweet Valley has gone. I remember when I was about 10 or so, I used to go out to my uncle and aunts farm, and my older cousins used to read the books, so I started reading them too. And the books associate some kind of reality...I guess now I'm just starting to realise, like OMG the series is ending, or has in some places...but in a way it will continue in our hearts, and generations can still read them...but many are outdated...I have a couple of the earlier books, and I have read most of them...sigh...the series will be greatly missed....also spoilers for Sweet 18 would be greatly appreciated.. January 19, 2003 Okay, I guess I should say something about Sweet 18, as Karen pointed out in the message board :-p Well, under expressions <--- in letters from editors, there is an old email at the top, that says how Sweet 18 was meant to end (I wouldn't know, as the books come out late in New Zealand), there are spoilers and what not, down at the clubs It's A Senior thing, and Liz and Conner. December 19, 2002 Okay, Sarah and I have thought up an idea for a christmas feature, remember Sar? She is co-founder around here, and she says hi, and happy holidays :D Anyway, who is into Secret Santas? I'll set up a feature, whereby, you can fill out a form if you're interested, with your email and name. We collect these by the 24th, New Zealand Time. (sheesh, better get it up), so if I set that up tomorrow...oh yeah brief explanation...once we have collected all the emails and names, I'll scramble them up, so each person can get a secret santa, and I'll email each person back separately....and then you can do nice things for the person such as sending greeting cards, christmasy things etc, and absolutely no mean things, if I find out you have been mean to your person, you will be out of the secret santa chain instantly ...Secret Santas will go up until New Years Day, or just after. The key is not to tell the person who you are...anyway, more details tomorrow, or later on tonight, if I'm up to it..tell us what you think in the message board..for this to be a success we need as many people as possible....thanks for your time peeps! I wish I could say that we'd carry on publishing the series, but unfortunately the sales of the books have not been high enough to continue. There are no plans to publish anything new relating to Sweet Valley. We are doing something special for the last book, Sweet 18. It will be on sale in January 2003, and it's a double edition--we're packaging it with the very first ever Sweet Valley High book, Double Love, originally published in 1983. The first and the last, packaged together. I hope you read and enjoy it, and we do appreciate your thoughts and thank you for being such a loyal fan. I am at uni now, so yay to that, and I have checked my inbox and emailed people, and I know I'm updating now, but this is just one of those, I need to get a life speeches.
